2e. Organizing Physical Space
To support the organizational needs of the entire class, groups of students will be provided with a Supply Basket that contains everything they will need to participate in the lesson (ex: pens, post-its, handouts, and prior research). Additionally, each groups’ workspace will be equally divided with yellow tape into five stations. A Station Schedule will be displayed next to the Do Now, so that every group rotates between choreographing in front of the mirror, in front of the audience, and on the floor in front of the stage.
Daily objectives, vocabulary, graphic organizers, checklists, and posters are displayed around the room to provide students with visual/language supports as they complete each lesson.
The physical space is free of barriers to provide students with a safe and space to move.
